Social K

Wherever we gather, we give!

For nearly a decade, Kellogg employees have been honoring World Food Day by volunteering their time in their communities. Volunteerism is not only deeply rooted in all of us as part of our K Values, it is a key way we fulfill our Kellogg’s™ Better Days Promise to advance sustainable and equitable access to food and create better days for 3 billion people by 2030.

We never stopped giving back to our communities throughout the pandemic—in fact, if anything, it strengthened our conviction in the importance of the work we do, whether by donating to food banks, supporting school breakfast programs, or helping keep sports programs in middle schools.

This year, after a nearly two-years dotted with virtual volunteer power hours, fundraisers, and individual activities, our employees were thrilled to be able to meet in person again and donate their time and effort as part of our World Food Day volunteer initiative.

And what a comeback! In the U.S. alone, employees volunteered over 1,200 hours!

We are proud to have truly embedded volunteerism into the way we work. Most recently, we’ve taken steps to ensure a volunteer activity wherever teams might gather – regardless of if it’s an area where we operate or not. Here’s just a few examples.
