In 2021, Kellogg Latin America completed the first year of its partnership with Comedor Santa Maria, a community dining organization that operates 31 diners to benefit families with extreme poverty conditions in Mexico.

Through this program, the residents in Mexico City, Mexico State and Hidalgo received monthly food packages with a variety of foods for their entire family such as protein, beans and other food which included Kellogg’s Corn Flakes™, Frosted Flakes™ and Choco Krispies™. The packages’ delivery was complimented with recipes for how to prepare their meals and other educational materials to promote healthy habits.

This specific partnership reached more than 6,000 children. In all, 498,789 meals were prepared – including 420,000 servings of Kellogg’s cereal. As you’ll see in this video, children and their families were particularly excited to receive a fun, recognizable brand like Kellogg’s!
