The Toast of the Party Goes Organic
New Keebler® Toasteds® Organic Crackers Offer an Organic Alternative

BATTLE CREEK, Mich., June 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Kellogg Company (NYSE: K) announced today that it is adding a new variety to its Keebler® Toasteds® line with the launch of Keebler® Toasteds® Organic Harvest Wheat crackers. Hitting store shelves nationwide in late June, the new bite-sized cracker has a rich, slightly sweet wheat flavor that provides a tasty snack for consumers seeking an organic alternative to traditional crackers.

Toasteds Organic Harvest Wheat crackers meet the strict USDA organic requirements, including certification of farming, production and handling methods, and they contain no pesticides, artificial preservatives or artificial ingredients.

"Kellogg Company constantly strives to understand changing consumer needs," said Raj Joshi, senior director crackers marketing, Kellogg Company. "With the growing interest in organic products -- the organic and natural food market is growing more than 20 percent each year* -- we felt the time was right to provide this option for consumers."

Toasteds Organic crackers may be enjoyed alone or as the perfect complement to spreads, dips, salads and cheeses. With the addition of Toasteds Organic Harvest Wheat, there are now five Toasteds cracker varieties, including Toasteds Buttercrisp, Toasteds Onion, Toasteds Sesame and Toasteds Wheat. Toasteds Organic crackers come in a snackable, bag-in-box package for a suggested retail price of $2.99 for a 6.75 ounce box.
