BATTLE CREEK, Mich., Nov 16, 2006 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX News Network/ -- Kellogg's® Smart Start Healthy Heart® has partnered with celebrity stylist Pauline Leonard to continue raising awareness of women's heart disease by offering one heart-smart woman and a guest a weekend trip to Beverly Hills, Calif. As a national supporter of the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women Movement, Smart Start Healthy Heart's "Night on the Town" sweepstakes will outfit the winner in a red dress, selected by Leonard.

Approximately one woman dies every minute of cardiovascular disease, nearly half a million women each year.(1) Most people who suffer from cardiovascular disease are affected by its two leading risk factors: high blood pressure and high cholesterol. Smart Start Healthy Heart is the only national cold cereal with ingredients that may help lower both blood pressure and cholesterol. The cereal is certified by the American Heart Association.

We hope that news of this very special weekend grand-prize trip will help encourage other women to think about their own hearts and the need to lead a heart healthy lifestyle," said Chris Noble, Senior Brand Manager, Smart Start Healthy Heart.

The grand-prize weekend will make the winner feel like a Hollywood star by invigorating and relaxing her with a personal training session, spa treatments and a deluxe hotel suite at the world-renowned Peninsula Beverly Hills. The culmination of the weekend will be a night on the town in a red dress at one of L.A.'s hottest restaurants, Dolce Enoteca e Ristorante. The sweepstakes runs through December 31, 2006. Women 21 and over can enter for a chance to win and view official rules at www.smartstart.com. The winner will be announced on National Wear Red Day(SM), February 2, 2007.
