DO YOU SEE VEGGIES DIFFERENTLY?
Morningstar Farms Announces the Veggie Creations Contest

Battle Creek, Mich. (April 11, 2007) — Let your creative veggie juices flow! Think of the kitchen as your studio and the plate as a canvas. Turning a vegetable into something extraordinary can be a fun and inspiring adventure, resulting in unexpectedly delicious recipes, table decorations, paintings, fashion accessories, and more. To encourage veggie lovers to indulge their creative whims and showcase how they see veggies differently, Morningstar Farms introduces the first-ever Morningstar Farms Veggies Creations Contest on www.seeveggiesdifferently.com

There are two categories for entry: the aspiring chef can submit a recipe creation to win a trip to Virginia for a hands-on, veggie-sculpting class from professional veggie carver, James Parker. The aspiring artist can enter the photo/video category to win a trip to La Tomatina Festival in Bunol, Spain, for the famous world's largest tomato fight during a week-long celebration of art and culture with musical bands, fireworks, food, and fun. Need some inspiration to get started? Visit the See Veggies Differently Web site to see a gallery of entries from other veggie enthusiasts and to enter the contest.

"At Morningstar Farms, we want to help people bring creativity to veggie eating. A lot of inspiration and imagination went into creating delicious veggie products such as our Mushroom Mozzarella Veggie Bites and Spicy Black Bean Burgers," said Jim Poppens, Vice President Marketing, Frozen Foods. "Vegetables can be so much more than a side dish, and we encourage people to look at veggies in a whole new way."

The Veggie Creations Contest begins on April 11, 2007 at 12:01 a.m. EST. The final deadline for submission is June 27, 2007 at 11:59 p.m. EST.
